do i have anything to say?
No, most likely not. But I do have updates for all those who care.
For the peeps in the dark, Carrie got into med school!
She will be attending Wayne State U in August. Score! I will be moving to GR this July for my 2nd and 3rd year. Looking forward to getting back to my geographical roots. This may seem perplexing just how we'll be living in two different cities on opposite sides of the state, but we have worked it out and Carrie will be visiting a lot. Her school has very few required classes and offer video taped lectures and thus she'll be chillin at homebase in GR with her 'daddy' often.
Since we are forced to buy a car because of the lack of adequate public transportation, we have been car shopping. I think we zero-ed in on a car. Our current 'beater' is a Ford and I have grown to detest it. This car (a 96' Contour) is the apotheosis of suck. Thus we have decided to never buy a Ford again. The car we do like is a Scion xA which is a division of Toyota. It is reliable, inexpensive and stylin'. Check it out: http://www.scion.com/drive/gallery/drive_xa_gallery.html
I want to lower it and add a 'system', but Carrie is less enthused.
Go Spartan Basketball!

I've been thinking about the Scion myself. When Ford Probe dies, a Scion it will be for me.
I love the Scion, even if it does look like a baby shoe on wheels.
Seeing as you're getting a new family car, here's a quick recipe to un-suck the Contour:
Sawzall + back seat and trunk panel = real cargo space
YES! i will gladly help you cut your car up with a sawzall. Matt- understand that the urge to destroy is a CREATIVE urge. I was born to help you cut you car apart.
I am so all about hackin' this car up. It's paid off and pisses me off which means that I gots no love. It really smells funky too. Kind of an earthy/ organic scent, but I'm no damn hippy so something must be done about that. I wish it was even more crap-tastic cuz' I'd be asking 'X' to pimp my ride! If only I still had that mini-van. The MattMobile could ride in a new glory with some new ice rims and a wall of subwoofers.
